Year 4 classes at Lammack Primary School had a superb day learning all about reduce, reuse and recycle.
‘Sally visited Year 4 to explain all about ‘the three R’s’ and what items should go into our household bins. We learnt the process of the contents of our brown bin being turned into healthy compost for our local farms to use on the crops we eat. We then played a fun recycle board game where we had to put certain items into specific bins and explain why. 50% of waste that ends up in the burgundy bin could be recycled!’
